February 3, 2007, after practice
Photographs by Robert Lacy-Thompson, comments by Dr Gone

I love this photograph. Missy is a real sweet little dog who is very vocal. Any time the music stops blasting you can be sure she will be there to get petted. After practice, she went to Tony for some love and found a nice sit spot in his guitar case.
But, what is that stuff in the case behind her? My guess is it is the cocoon of the space-alien monster that comes out and inhabit's Tony's brain to make him a great guitar player.

Ken and Missy

Bass player Ken Mensing is pretty much as affectionate a guy as Missy is an affectionate dog.

Here's a self portrait of Robert.

Ken

No big deal, just a nice photograph of Ken going back for more gear after hefting some of his stuff out to his vehicle.

The Lacy-Thompson family has approximately 85,722 cats. This is a mystery to Dr Gone, who is more of a dog guy. Actually, Dr Mungo Gone is a dog, which explains so much about him if you know him well. But, the Lacy-Thompsons like cats, probably because of a certain Egyption influence in the family, and are very, very nice to them. An example of both the Lacy-Thompsons' sweetness to cats, and the way cats are is at right. You'll note that the cat has been lovingly tucked into very nice bedding. You will further note this cat's sneering dismissal of any human beings who might be at hand.
This photograph is poetry.
